Where the data comes from

We download the game’s public Steam depot and extract its data tables. That is the same data the game itself reads, which is why stats here are exact rather than community-estimated — and why they can differ slightly from what the game displays, since the UI rounds some values.

How often it updates

A watcher polls Steam for new builds. When one ships, the update is extracted, compared field by field against the previous build, and published — including changes that were not in the official patch notes. Every diff is on the changes pages.

What we will not publish

• Unreleased content. Data for things Embark have not shipped is filtered out before it ever reaches our database. Our Frozen Trail page carries official announcements only until the update goes live.
• Numbers we cannot support. A missing value renders as an em dash, never as a zero, and a verdict we cannot compute is shown as unknown rather than guessed.
• Game art and map textures. We do not rip or rehost Embark’s assets.

Corrections

If a figure here disagrees with the game, the extraction is the thing to doubt first — and we would rather hear about it. Every page states the build it was read from so a discrepancy can be pinned to a patch.
